Cops pulled a suicidal man off the Manhattan Bridge Wednesday morning, after he threatened to take the plunge, authorities said. Police received 911 calls at around 5 a.m., reporting the man – in a t-shirt, red pants and white high-top sneakers – climbed over a barrier alongside the bridge’s bike lane. Emergency Service Unit officers kept the man at mid-span talking for about 30 minutes before it was safe enough to grab him. He was held this morning at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center for a psychological evaluation, police said. Credit to 'NYPD'.
