Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea met with Koko the gorilla for a jamming session. Flea will remember this unique experience for the rest of his life. Are you jealous of Koko for having the opportunity to play bass with the famous rock star?

Footage shows the bassist showing Koko how to play on his bass guitars to which Koko responds by plucking the strings and taking matter in his own hands! The leader is born!

Do you think Flea gave a music lesson to this primate or was it the other way round? Either way, Flea is happy that he had the opportunity to hang out with the famed Koko the Gorilla at the Gorilla Foundation in Woodside, California.

"This is just the greatest thing that could ever happen. This is the day that I will never forget in my life," says Flea. Watch and be amazed as the 45-year-old Koko plucks, fiddles and nuzzles the instrument.

From the Gorilla Foundation inform that Koko was absolutely thrilled by the mellow sounds of the bass guitar during the jamming session with Flea. Koko even took the courage to strum on Flea's bass guitar. Now, has any other fan done that? The foundation also promised "future collaborations" between the bassist and the primate. Lucky Koko!

During their encounter, Koko took advantage of an opportunity that every rock fan would love to, getting hands on one of Flea’s bass guitars. Although it might be late for this gorilla to launch a new career as a rock star, Koko seems to have gotten a basic understanding of at least how the bass is held, with one hand firmly around the neck and the other hand strumming away.

Let’s hope that Koko sticks with the bass and invites us to a new jamming session soon!
