Healthy OATS BREAKFAST RECIPE
Here's a simple and healthy oats breakfast recipe for you:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Fresh fruits (such as berries, sliced bananas, or chopped apples)
Nuts or seeds (such as almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, or flaxseeds)
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats and milk. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and the mixture thickens. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
If desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten the oats. You can also add cinnamon for extra flavor.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let the oats cool slightly.
Transfer the cooked oats to a serving bowl. Top it with your favorite fresh fruits and nuts or seeds for added texture and nutrition.
