Having an out of body experience while needing to mount an orchid with active root tips, that are longer than the mount, NOT a good day on the patio. I was so indecisive on this day, I was so nervous, I felt as though this was the first orchid I was mounting EVER! Dendrobium exile was not on my intended orchids to be move to cork bark, however, this orchid is growing so well that I need to think ahead and provide it with a mount that will hold up against drying out too soon. I have mounted many orchids in my life time, but during the filming of this video, I was still unable to make my brain and hands do the work. I filmed this video anyway, because it could resonate with someone that also has nerves when mounting orchids, so, if that is you, if you get nervous mounting an orchid, then, know that you are not alone.
