Sandbags House In The Desert | Phase I: The Prep

Shelter is one of the most important things for life anywhere, doubly so in a hostile desert. Looking at my ranch, the one thing I have in spades in sand - Endless amounts of sand.

Sandbags make sense to use as my primary building material, as long as I can build quickly with them. I bought a skid steer attachment that loads 3,000+ sandbags daily.

But before I show up to the ranch and start loading bags, preparation is key. I figured it'd be a good idea to test the attachment BEFORE I took it to the ranch. That was a wise choice, but it also led to a rabbit hole of problems.
