You won’t believe what Starmer reckons the last lie he told was.

Keir Starmer telling lies barely even registers as news anymore, but when asked what the last whopper he told was...
Right so Keir Starmer, he’s told some whoppers, a reputation as a liar right up there with Boris Johnson, the only difference between them being a comb. It’s become pretty much the only thing Starmer has been consistent in, his resolute commitment to not meaning a single word he ever says, but his latest lie might just be the most Keir Starmer lie yet, in the scale of it’s ridiculousness, it made me cringe, it is Keir Starmer’s Theresa May style running through the wheatfield moment, but see what you think. This all came out in what was basically a puff piece for Starmer in the Guardian, the so-called Liberal newspaper, which is hardly that when we remember it as the most vocal attack rag on Corbyn and if you’re kissing up to a right wing red Tory like Starmer in the same way he does to Murdoch, there’s nothing liberal about that at all. He was asked a rather lovely question though, given the dishonesty the man is renowned for, when the question was put to him: What was the last lie that you told? When would have probably been an easier question, the honest answer would have been the last time he drew breath, but he wouldn’t have been likely to answer honestly anyway. No, Starmer’s answer to this was: ‘Last night, when I told my kids that I hadn’t mixed veg into the sauce for their pasta.’ Now, you hear that and you think of all the policy reversals, flip flops and backtracks he’s made, promises that won him support, won him the Labour leadership, things that obviously he would never admit to lying about, he excuses those by saying things have changed, the pandemic, the cost of living crisis, we now can’t afford to fix these is ultimately what he ends up saying, but some line about hiding veggies in his kids pasta sauce? Even this is a lie, He’s literally lying about lying now and if you aren’t quite seeing why this line is so atrociously bad, let me elucidate. By that comment, you might figure Starmer’s kids are little. Hiding veggies in pasta sauce, that’s what you do for 4 and 5 year olds isn’t it? We’ve all done it, we’ve got to stash the veggies somewhere to get them to eat it, hide it in the sauce, mash them into potatoes, veggie burgers, smoothies, the only limit is you’re imagination really, but why is Starmer still doing this for his kids because they aren’t 4 or 5, they’re 15 and 12.
