Stat, a health-news organization formed by the Boston Globe has broken a story today that Gilead's antiviral drug Remdesivir is showing significant progress in trials at the University of Chicago Hospital. This drug is in phase-3 trials and the drug has proven success in lab trials already. Human trials are now showing substantial success in human trials among severe cases of covid-19, the disease caused by the novel Coronavirus.

Should you buy the Gilead (GILD) Stock? Possibly! It's up over 13% after hours. I'd recommend holding the stock if you own it, but I personally prefer buying this news in other highly hit stocks, like airlines like the low-debt carrier Delta (DAL) and Cruise Lines like Carnival (CCL).
