Marine Surprises Marine Grandfather For His Birthday

Christian Anderson, a Marine, comes home to surprise his grandfather Jeffrey B. Anderson Sr. a former Marine. Christian became a Marine and his grandfather wasn't able to attend his graduation. Jeffrey Anderson Sr. had not seen Christian in almost 2 years and had yet to ever see him in uniform, so his family decided to surprise him for his birthday!

Be careful, because here comes the touching moment where the grandfather’s knees buckle as he is so overwhelmed and proud to have his Marine grandson in his arms. Senior must be very proud of his boy!

This is such a heartwarming and amazing moment. Being in the military can be very hard as you don't get to see your family as much as you would like. These two men deserve our thanks for serving their country!

Being in the military is hard for both the soldier and the family. It’s hard to leave the comfort and the love of your close ones and fly all the way to the other side of the planet, but it’s what’s necessary. It’s knowing that the sacrifices you’re making will guarantee the safety of your loved ones.
This feeling solidifies the moment your feet plant themselves on home ground and you see the smiling faces of the people you’ve missed the entire time. There’s no better feeling than the feel of their arms around you the moment they spot you.

Everytime you get the chance, you should always show your loved ones how much you appreciate them. Even by do a little gesture like getting someone flowers or a card can go a long way!
