Surely you have also used a tape measure before, but do you already know these secret tricks with a tape measure? Here I show you 4 tricks that you should definitely use in the future.

1. the slit on the front part is perfect to hang it on a nail. This way you don't have to hold the tape measure but it will hold on the nail or screw.

2. if you want to measure at an angle, you don't have to bend the tape measure here. Instead, look at your tape measure. The length of the plastic part is written somewhere on it. This way you can measure directly on the wall and you still have to add the length of the plastic part to what is written on the scale.

3. you don't have a pencil at hand to mark something. Just use the metal bar of the tape measure. With this you can scratch something and set a mark. 4.

4. did you ever notice that the front part is movable? This is so that you can measure accurately, depending on whether you take an inside or outside measurement. Otherwise, the thickness of the metal part would cause the measurement to change slightly.

Be sure to try this trick with the tape measure if you've never done it this way before!
