Getting Ready For 2nd Baby! (Addressing your fears + a message from a big sister.)

Welcome to a pep talk for the moms or dads getting ready for baby #2! You already prepared for your first baby -congratulations! that was one parenting mountain you have already climbed! Now you are preparing for your second baby, and based on what moms and dads are telling me, you are nervous! Rightly so! It's a huge change for all of you. Some moms are afraid they won't be able to handle the new baby exhaustion while raising their first child (ie. depending on the age gap of their children they'll be caring for two babies at once, chasing their toddler while breastfeeding, or shuttling their bigger kids to school while managing newborn life...) New parents are concerned that their first child won't like their second child, or that the toddler will be jealous of the baby, some moms even expressed fear that they won't love the new baby as much as they love the first baby. I hear you. I remember feeling all the things too! I also felt nervous that I wouldn't be able to handle a little boy, because it was so new to me. But here we are! Three kids later! And as you will hear from me, my husband, AND big sister Eloise - having a second baby (or even a third!) is so worth it.
