Ingredients:

4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1-inch piece of ginger, minced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions:

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle until fragrant.
