After you wash your clothes, do you throw them in the dryer so that it then dries them completely? Then this little household tip is just the thing for you. Because here I show you a little trick how you can halve the drying time of your laundry. This trick is really simple and also saves energy and time, so you should definitely watch this video!

To do this, you should put your washed clothes in the dryer. Preferably in individual pieces. So don't just throw everything out of the washing machine directly into the dryer, but put the parts in individually. This makes the laundry dry much faster and easier.

Next, you need a dry towel. This you now simply put in the dryer and then you can start this already! Because the dry towel will absorb some of the moisture and thus ensures that the dryer is ready much faster. If you have a clothes dryer with a moisture sensor, it will tell you how long the drying time is. After you start your program, it adjusts the drying time depending on how wet the laundry is.

With my dryer you see, at the beginning it says the drying time is 1:45 hours and then after a short recalculation it is only 0:47 hours! Say with such a humidity sensor, the clothes dryer will automatically finish faster. With a tumble dryer without humidity sensor, you can look after about half of the actual drying time, whether your laundry is already dry.
