Learn how to make these gooey, chocolaty, buttery, delicious morsels of deliciousness known as M&M blondies!! Kind of a cross between a brownie and a cookie but better than both. If that's possible, LOL!! These are quick to whip up and that's a good thing because they won't last long!!

What you'll need:
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup white granulated sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup or 4 oz) unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup + 2 Tbsp all-purpose or plain flour
1/2 cup mini M&M's, mini chocolate chips or chocolate chunks

Preheat oven to 350*F and lightly grease or oil an 8" x 8" baking dish. Then, in a large bowl, melt butter and let cool somewhat. Add in sugars and using a whisk, mix well. Add in egg and vanilla and whisk to incorporate. Add in flour, baking powder and salt and stir to make a batter. Finally add in all but 2 Tbsp mini M&M's. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle remaining M&M's on top and bake for 20-22 minutes or until lightly golden brown and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Err on the side of underbaking for more gooey-ness. Let cool before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy! Makes (16) 2" bars. Enjoy!!
