About 80,000 Florida customers still without power after Hurricane Idalia lashes state

Forty-eight hours after Hurricane Idalia hit the state of Florida, state officials said Friday they've made solid progress in their efforts to recover. But power, schools and other needs remain, and now the president is planning a visit.
