What does Donald Trump want to see in the phase 4 stimulus plan? Trump wants phase 4 stimulus to be big and bold; 2 trillion dollars: Reduced payroll, taxes, bridge, schools, state/local aid, equipment, and broadband. Steve Mnuchin: Too early to tell how it'll be divided but it will come.

Phase 4 stimulus MIGHT be the last.
Democrats clearly want more direct payments to individuals and families.
Nancy Pelosi wants more payments to individuals and so do other democratic leaders and has clearly stated she wants additional payments. There’s a coalition of 62 representatives, mostly democratic, who want more payments to individuals. Then we have democratic bills to cancel rent and mortgage payments, pay individuals $2,000 per month as stimulus ($4,000 for families), and Bobby Rush’s mortgage deferment bill that would automatically put back payments at the end of the loan. Senate Democrats have introduced a HEROs fund to offer $25,000 in additional payments ($13 more per hour) to workers in essential services. This is in addition to a possible $15,000 recruitment incentive.

Chuck Schumer, democratic Senate minority leader, is pushing for more funding for the postal service, elections, rental assistance, and other things.

Trump has also stated he would “absolutely consider” more checks for individuals.

On the flip side republican leader Mitch McConnell mentioned that “no phase 4” will be discussed until May 4th when congress is back in session. Mitch McConnell has also expressed concerns with the Treasury not getting stimulus checks out fast enough and expressed concerns over the country’s debt problem.
