The World Health Organization (WHO) accidentally published data on the Chinese trial for Remdesivir, Gilead's hopeful to help treat Covid-19. Stat news originally broke that initial, anecdotal evidence from the University of Chicago Hospital that Remdesivir seemed to help those with severe treatments relatively well. However, early results from the Chinese trials accidentally published by the WHO, published by the Financial Times, and further reported on in Stat news again, doesn't suggest any benefits. Jim Cramer quickly took to Twitter casting doubt on the Chinese reporting and the efficacy of the Chinese Trial. Gilead calls this inconclusive.

What does this mean for future stimulus? Well, it's going to depend on what happens at the end of this month when we get information on the US trails. This is bad news for reopening the economy sooner, but possibly a reason to expect more stimulus.
