The rivalry between the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners was a real thing back in the mid-1990s. Both teams had just faced each other in the previous season's division round, with the Mariners winning off of the famous Ken Griffey Jr. run.
This ESPN Sunday Night Baseball broadcast was highly anticipated, and the two teams showed their animosity towards one another once the umpires said "play ball"!
