We start with a review of features you might not have noticed in the options menu andtalking to some ox. The issues with the druids and tieflings are already pretty high, and the issue with Arabella is pretty easy to resolve. Still, it's clear things are getting ready to go wrong. Nettie is unhelpful, but everyone is pointing us towards Halsin. There's a lot going on in the Grove, and I kind of like it.

You CAN remove the paralysis from the tiefling the rat brings you to, but you'll need second level divine spells (or I suppose a scroll/potion with the same effect.) So, we'll come back later when Astarion gets Druid 3. After exploring the Grove, we do some more external exploration. It feels like not a lot happened in this adventure, but a lot of these conversations and explorations matter, I think.

If not, at least we made a puppy friend.
