Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls | Adventure In Seattle | Vancity Adventure

The Deschutes River terminates its voyage from the Cascade range's shoulders and tumbles 82 feet into Capitol Lake, historically the last reach of Puget Sound, in the small, historic city of Tumwater, Washington. Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls, located along the river's edge, offers visitors 15 acres of natural, beautiful scenery and a year-round ambiance of enjoyment for people of all ages.

Both banks of the river are lined with a diverse range of native trees and plants as it pitches and eddies through a canyon of boulder rapids and deep pools, culminating in a mist-filled fall over Tumwater Falls.

Cascading waterfalls, reflected pools, and enormous rocks adorn a half-mile of walking routes. Footbridges span the river at both ends of the gorge, linking the network of paths. They are meant to blend in with the surroundings and to be historically accurate.
