The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for September 19, 2023. This week's meeting began with an extended Listen & Learn on a Workforce Development Update consisting of a presentation by Rick Szabrak, Director of Economic and Workforce Development, Deshawn Toney, Deputy Director of Economic and Workforce Development (Fairfield County), Dr. Lewatis McNeal, Vice Provost Regional Higher Education and Partnerships, Dr. Carissa Anderson, Assistant Vice Provost (Ohio University), Dr. Jarrod Tudor, Executive Vice President and Amanda Lemke, Assistant Dean of Workforce Development (Hocking College).

Public Comments began at (53:07) and runs through (1:00:00): Ray Stemen commented on the Workforce Development presentation pointing out the open border effects the local job market, and the border should be closed. He continued by talking about how the rising inflation is another form of taxation on the public, the need to teach civics in primary and secondary schools, and lastly concluded with a prayer for the county commissioners and employees.

Judy Stemen shared a news story about the FDA approving a new COVID "vaccine" despite the documented issues with the first rounds of approvals and asked what the county's position is going to be in regard to promotion of COVID jabs or enforcing future mandates.

The remainder of the meeting consisted mainly of Legal, County Administrative Updates and their "Voting Pattern".
