Join us LIVE as we chat with Julie Li, an engineer on NASA’s Psyche mission, which will be the first to explore a metal-rich asteroid. Li, of Maxar Technologies, will share how the Psyche team developed the solar electric propulsion hardware on the spacecraft and will take live questions from viewers.

The Psyche mission aims to help answer fundamental questions about Earth’s own metal core and the formation of our solar system. Scheduled to launch on Oct. 5, 2023, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the spacecraft will begin orbiting the asteroid Psyche in 2029.
