Historic 1915 Calumet & Hecla #3 Steam Locomotive - Will it Run Again? #trains | Jason Asselin

For several years the historic Calumet & Hecla #3 steam locomotive provided memories as it took passengers on rides around Houghton County Historical Society grounds. As of mid-September 2023 they have replaced the locomotive's boiler. However, before they can place the locomotive back in service providing rides around the grounds they must fund repairs to the rails and ties that make up the track. So, they are still in need of donations to complete that work. Your help to get this done will be very much appreciated, not only by the volunteers but also by the many future passengers they hope to provide with a ride behind this historic locomotive from 1915.
