c. UNITED CREDIT CARDS – ALL (Personal & Business): If your account is not open for at least six months, United and Chase reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your MileagePlus Program account. Cards affected include:

- United Explorer Card
- United Quest Card

d. IHG CREDIT CARDS – ALL (Personal & Business): Chase may close your credit card account or suspend your right to use your credit card account, at any time for any reason, including account inactivity. Cards affected include:
- IHG Rewards Traveler Credit Card
- IHG Rewards Premier Credit Card

PART 2: NEW SIGNUP BONUS RULES - ALL CHASE CREDIT CARDS (Including ones that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points)

a. Chase cardmembers who currently have or have had a Chase credit card in any Rewards Program associated with this offer, may not be eligible for a second Chase credit card in the same Rewards Program.

b. Chase cardmembers currently receiving promotional pricing, or Chase cardmembers with a history of only using their current or prior Chase card for promotional pricing offers, are not eligible for a second Chase credit card with promotional pricing.

RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Keep all credit cards open for 1 full year or longer. This goes for Chase credit cards and cards issued by all other issuers.

2. How Often Should I Use My Credit Card? Use all open credit cards at least once every 6 months to prevent account closures due to inactivity. Consider using Chase cards even more frequently if you plan to get 2+ credit cards that earn the same type of rewards (Example: 2 United Credit Cards, 2 IHG Credit Cards, 2 Chase Credit Cards that earn Ultimate Rewards points, 2 Southwest Credit Cards, etc.)

3. Don’t game the system. Getting credit cards for the signup bonus & then canceling or downgrading shortly after may increase your risk of the account being frozen, shut down, and/or points being taken back. Translation: Avoid credit card churning & avoid credit card manufactured spending. Credit cards ought to be used as if they were a debit card, so spend only the money that you'd normally spend on your regular expenses (and for which you have cash in your checking account to pay off your bill in full).
