In this video, we’re going to talk about cravings and how to deal with food cravings. Cravings are a good indication that you’re missing something in the body.

What causes cravings and how to deal with food cravings:

Sweet cravings
If you’re craving sweets, you’re not burning fat. You’re burning sugar. It may also be caused by a potassium deficiency. You need 7-10 cups of vegetables per day to get the potassium and other nutrients you need. But, if you’re getting enough potassium, it could be because of adrenal burnout, in which case you may need L-tryptophan.

Starch cravings
This would include things like potatoes and pasta. This may be a vitamin B deficiency. In this case, you may want to try taking nutritional yeast. You may also want to take L-tryptophan and possibly dopamine.

Salt cravings
This could mean that the adrenals are losing salt. You may want to get plenty of sea salt along with potassium.

Fat cravings
Craving fatty foods like deep-fried foods could mean there is a liver, gallbladder, or bile issue going on. You might not be absorbing fat-soluble vitamins. Increasing bile may help.

Chocolate cravings
Craving chocolate could mean that the adrenal glands need more serotonin because they’re burnt out. Having more L-tryptophan and magnesium may help.

Sour cravings
Craving sour things could be because of a choline deficiency. The best natural remedy for this may be to have a lot of lemons and choline. Nutritional yeast may help as well.

Ice cravings
Ice cravings could be because of an iron deficiency.

Caffeine cravings
For caffeine cravings, you may want to try a supplement called phenylpiracetam.

Alcohol cravings
A good substitute for alcohol in kombucha tea. Dopa Mucuna may also help.

Drug cravings
Dopa Mucuna may help.

Hungry all of the time
Getting more bile and fat-soluble vitamins may help in this situation.

MSG
Increasing potassium may help with MSG cravings.

Stress eaters
A good natural remedy for stress eaters might be magnolia.
