US House Speaker McCarthy removed from role in unprecedented vote

For the first time in United States history, the speaker of the House of Representatives has been removed.
Kevin McCarthy was targeted by a small group of hardline Republicans after he made a deal with Democrats to prevent a government shutdown over the weekend.
McCarthy says he won't run for the position of speaker again.
