Transom Hole Repair and Fairing - Boston Whaler Restoration Part 10

In this video, I'll be getting the transom ready for painting. I'll be doing a transom hole repair and fairing (except for the engine mount holes) and reinforcing the repairs with fiberglass. I'll finish this by fairing the transom to get it ready for paint. Doing a transom hole repair should be a permanent fix and the method I use should last the life of the boat. Hopefully, this Boston Whaler Restoration will outlive me!

There's still a lot more work to be done on the hull. There are a couple of areas with major damage that I'll be tackling in upcoming videos.

Weathers been warming up so I can get to work on the transom and hull of this Whaler 13 restoration. It also means that others will be outside working, you'll hear chainsaws in the background and the wind playing havoc with my audio. That's the price you pay when working in an outdoor environment!
