That's an UGLY SCENE | What is left of a hen pheasant after being eaten alive by an owl.

While I was out at Rocky Mountain Roosters on a pheasant hunt I saw an owl up in a tree. I knew that owls were bad news for pheasants so I walked towards the owl until it flew off. A little later I came across this scene.

THIS IS WHY HUNTING IS MORE COMPASSIONATE! I could not imagine being eaten alive.
