Homemade Sichuan Chili Crisp - Without Highly Processed Oils

Chili crisp is a delightful condiment that can go on just about everything (including ice cream). It is wonderful on just about any protein or vegetable, and especially tasty with eggs. Unfortunately, not only is chili crisp fairly expensive in stores, most commercial brands contain canola and/or soybean oil - both of which are highly processed and inflammatory for many people.
