This is a capture of me and a friend playing the Beach multiplayer mode in Conker's Bad Fur Day on the Nintendo 64. This is not an emulator. This footage was captured directly from my Nintendo 64 using an actual Conker's Bad Fur Day cartridge. I'm player one and Drew is player two. We're playing on the Tediz side on Einstein difficulty with 8 Frenchies on the field.

Drew and I have this tradition dating back to 2001 where we play Conker whenever he visits because the multiplayer is so damn awesome. Over the past couple years we started regularly recording our gameplay to see if we'd end up with any amazing new footage. We recently managed to record some awesome new Beach footage, so I'm replacing the old video with some higher-quality stuff.

Drew and I typically play the Beach mode right off the bat when we start a Conker multiplayer session. We always play as the Tediz (shooting Frenchies is way more fun than running as them) and we load up the match with the maximum number of AI Frenchies (eight).

Usually I handle the sniper rifle, but in this match Drew took care of the sniping and I grabbed the bazooka. The results were hilarious. Drew landed some incredible headshots including splattering a Frenchy's head in mid-air all the way at the way out on the beach (see the 2:42 mark). That is the single most impressive shot I've ever seen in this mode.

I also landed some decent shots on the Frenchies that tried crossing the stone bridge close to our sniper towers. Enjoy the footage.

Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the official N64 S-video cable. I used a Toshiba model D-R550 DVD Recorder to upconvert the N64's native 240p signal to 480i so that the Hauppauge could capture the console's audio/video signal.

We're both using standard Nintendo 64 controllers.
