Unveiling Treks 300 Aluminum Series The Ultimate Carbon Lookalike

300 series like this is gonna utilize Trek's hardest aluminum frame allowing them to use less material But it also features things like their Invisi-Weld technology which depending on how you look at the bike a lot of times you can almost not even see the welds and you'd be forgiven for thinking that this was a carbon bike from a few feet away as well as internal cable routing just like the carbon fiber versions of the Amonda where it comes in down through the head tube Throughout the bike they then also feature a CamTail style shaped down tube This is a trick that they pull off on their carbon bikes as well You can see it looks almost like a fairing in the front and then towards the back you cut off you lop off flat where the trailing edge would have been allowing the air to make a virtual airfoil.
