Dangerous Liberty Ep49 - Special Guests Gold Star Parents Virginia and Thomas Feeks

Tonight's episode is easily the most important podcast we've ever hosted. We will be remembering Navy Seal SO1 Patrick Feeks and talking with his parents Virginia and Thomas Feeks.

This podcast is about the importance of liberty. Liberty is dangerous but it is also costly. From time to time we need to be reminded of the cost of liberty so that we commit to preserving it and honoring the sacrifices of so many that have given everything to ensure it for us.

We cannot allow our liberty to be threatened by our enemies or by politicians that will squander the sacrifices of our fighting men and women under the guise of safety and security.

Liberty is dangerous. It is also the most costly and precious God given right we as Americans enjoy. Tonight is a reminder of that cost. We as a nation must recommit to the preservation of the freedom that was bought and paid for by so many before us and defend it with everything we have from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Virginia Blevins Feeks Bio
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Virginia (Ginny) Blevins Feeks’ family moved to Belair Maryland when she was in High School. She graduated from Belair High School and attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) as an Art Major, before switching to pre nursing at the University of Maryland. Ginny graduated from the U of M Nursing School in 1975. She worked General Medicine and Geriatric in Pensacola Fl.
Marrying a Naval Officer in 1976 she moved often and had a varied and diverse Nursing Experiences, centering around Patient Education and Diabetes Teaching. Settling in Annapolis MD in 2001 she worked the next 20 years in OB/GYN. She retired in 2021.
Ginny has two children, Patrick who became a Navy SEAL, and was killed in Afghanistan in 2012. And Regina a Physician’s Assistant in the Navy.
She has enjoyed a variety of equestrian activities including cattle cutting, dressage, jumping and trail riding. She is an avid amateur photographer and birdwatcher . A dedicated owner of Labrador Retrievers, she has worked her dogs in Agility and Nose work. She has also been active in raising money for the NAVY SEAL FOUNDATION, notably local Annapolis Wine Tasting Events as well as the Annapolis and Tampa Bay Frogman Swims which directly support NSF.
She currently resides in Edgewater, MD with her incredibly handsome and talented husband of 47 years.
