Wildlife Photography in Bandhavgarh National Park | TIGER COUNTRY Ep. 4 - A Royal Bloodline.

Welcome to a Tiger reserve that's a favourite of every wildlife enthusiast and nature lover - Bandhavgarh National Park. In the previous episodes of Tiger Country, we sighted and photographed several species that the jungles of Madhya Pradesh are home to. We documented Leopards, Sloth Bears, Barasingha, Jackals, Gaur, various birds and a whole lot more.

With Bandhavgarh having one of the highest densities of Tigers, it made sense to focus solely on them and film / photograph their behaviour. This approach gave us an incredible insight into a lesser-known social structure amongst them. Tune into the entire episode to find out exactly how the game of submission vs succession plays out.

Along the way, we'll also encounter the late Tigress, Spotty, months before her passing, as well as her young adult cub, 7A, as he feeds on an old Spotted Deer kill.

On a personal note, this visit to Bandhavgarh has been my most cherished wildlife expedition. The many landscapes are absolutely breathtaking and I saw a total of 17 Tigers spread across 8 safaris. Do subscribe if you haven't and I'll see you once again in the series finale of Tiger Country.

This series is co-produced by Pugdundee Safaris and Kenneth Lawrence.

Filmed & photographed on the Canon R5. For optics, I used the EF 200-400mm f4L IS zoom lens with the inbuilt 1.4x teleconverter.

Immense gratitude to the forest department for their tireless support towards conserving wildlife and to the safari guides for sharing their knowledge and wisdom.
