France to legalise apartheid by outlawing anti Israel speech.

France brings a Bill to legally ban anti-Zionism - anti Israel speech - with sentences of hefty fines and imprisonment.
Right, so the French government seem to be looking at the fawning sycophancy in the UK in relation to the state of Israel and the war crimes it is committing against Gaza and thinking, we can be even more sycophantic than that, by putting forward a proposed law to punish anyone criticising Israel and would effectively outlaw anyone daring to speak out against Zionism. You can say what you like about he French in France, insult their country up one side and down the other and although you’d be making an absolute tit of yourself, you wouldn’t be breaking any laws. Do likewise about Israel though, and you could end up fined or even imprisoned if this law ends up on their statute books. This perversion of sucking up to a racist, apartheid state has to end and where other countries are leading the way on this, with more joining them, Western countries are embarrassing themselves in their devotion to the indefensible, their cold, callous indifference as a result, to the masses of civilian deaths we’re seeing in Palestine at Israeli hands. This is shameless inhumane posturing right up there with the UK proposed laws to outlaw Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions towards Israel, equally pathetic and just as out of touch with the public.
Right, so what the French government are proposing here is absolutely unreal, they’re going to try and make anti-Zionism illegal. Zionism is a deeply unpleasant doctrine, we’re seeing it play out now in Gaza, we’ve witnessed its effects for the last 75 years including and since the Nakba, their right to an ethno-national state for Jewish people at the expense of the people who were already there. Little wonder that yesterday, on the 106th anniversary of the signing of the Balfour Declaration that basically told Zionists they could have such land, the foreign office got graffitied with all manner of well, justifiable slogans lets call them, on what somebody thought of Balfour. But now France are going to make it illegal to speak out against Israel in effect, because of course everything they do, they are doing they say, in the name of protecting themselves and their security and their right to exist, ignoring any such sense of security and right to exist for Palestinians. Zionism is an inherently racist ideology. I can still say that in this country as things stand, you might not be able to for much longer in France. So what exactly are they proposing then Damo? Well, the Law Proposition as they call it what we call a Bill is to complete the penal framework on the sanctioning of anti-Zionism, so it outlines the punishments. Here’s how it reads: ‘"Bill Proposal to Complete the Penal Framework Sanctioning Anti-Zionism Article 25 of the law of July 29, 1881, on the freedom of the press is restated as follows: 'Article. 25. - Those who, by one of the means stated in Article 23, have denied the right of the State of Israel to exist will be punished by one year of imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros.
