CAREER FACTS - Roddy Piper made his pro wrestling debut on June 5, 1973, against one of his trainers named "Tony Condello". The Larry Hennig story Piper tells is false, he didn't wrestle Larry until April 25, 1974,10 months into his career.

CAREER FACTS - Roddy Piper debuts for the American Wrestling Association on October 3, 1973, facing off for the first time with a nearly equally novice Ric Flair. They would rematch on television on November 10, 1973, so if anyone can find AWA "All-Star Wrestling" from that exact date, you're basically striking gold!

CAREER FACTS - Piper wins his first title on September 13, 1974 (The Central Canadian Championship Wrestling Tag Team titles with George Eakin)

CAREER FACTS - Piper wins his first singles title on March 12, 1976, defeating Chavo Guerrero for the Americas title.

CAREER FACTS - On January 18, 1977, Piper wrestles Andre The Giant in a singles match for the very first time.
