This is How You DON'T Play Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Death, Quit, & Failure - KingDDDuke TiHYDP 168

HE RAGED QUIT! HE RAGE QUIT, OH MY GOSH, HE WAGED QUIT, OH MY GOSH. In this TiHYDP, Phil plays Super Mario Bros. Wonder for day one views, and dies a lot. Phil tries to go for 100%, so I fudged up the numbers a but by including time fails and not getting the top of the flagpole (but only if he didn't get it prior). I was expecting a rage quit, but not that soon, I was really disappointed, I wanted a night of rage, not an early wage quit followed by chill & boring qna. Just like real life, Phil spends all of his purple coins on worthless Jpegs rather than investing them in extra lives for the Final Final Test. What a moron.
Tips are low, so Phil pretends to like the game, but deep down, he hates the lack of monetary compensation. He does a lot of cringe clown mode in this video.
I was disappointed with the lack of fails in Alan Wake 2 & Spider-Man 2, and the TiHYDP for those where not worth the time investment I put into those, but this one was. I made Death TiHYDPs for Alan Wake 1 & Spider-Man 1 and both had tons of salt, so it sucks the sequels are much easier and more casual experiences on normal difficulty.
This will probably be the last modern DSP TiHYDP of 2023 I'll make, since all the playthroughs minus CoD are going to be boring chill experiences, and I move on a long time ago from making proper DSP TIHYDPs and stick to the Death Edition format unless it's a passion project like a DSP & John Co-op playthrough that's on the shorter side, or a game I personally love but Phil ruins it with his awful gameplay and commentary.
I already have a bunch of legacy DSP Death Edition TiHYDP made up to January 2024, so I'm ahead of schedule, but I'll start posting 1 or 2 a week as I don't want to release too many videos too close together, unless I'm trying to get a recent modern tihydp out asap, like this one.
Next video will be up on Mon 11/20, and it's TiHYDP Mount your Friends which will be TiHYDP 169. Phil & John play a game involving men in speedos and both moan really loud the whole time, It's a strange one. Then Wed 11/22 is TiHYDP Nier Replicant Death Edition, which has all the deaths from that playthrough. I never made a proper TiHYDP Nier Replicant for Routes B-E, but that would take too much time, & Phil gets way too much money in that playthrough, so it would be super chill & boring.
Then on Fri 11/24 I finally release TiHYDP TMNT Mutants in Manhatten, where Phil rages a lot for a game that's super easy, but has a revive mechanics, which carries Phil throughout the game. It's a kids game, so Phil had his expectations set way too high for this one, but it is Platinum Games & it is much lower quality than there usual work, but I remember having a lot of fun with it when I got it from redbox to own not rent for 2 bucks.
