This video is being released on the 60th Anniversary of the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. I was 12 years old on that day and have studied the event extensively ever since.

In 2020, Bob Dylan released his longest song ever, a 17- minute exploration of the JFK Assassination and the effects it has had on our society. Despite many requests, I have resisted reacting to that song for the last 3 years as I found it cut too close the the bone. With the 60th Anniversary arriving, however, I decided the time had come to tackle this great song and disturbing event.

At 55 minutes, this will no doubt be the longest reaction that I ever do. That is due to two factors: The song itself is very long and packed with cultural references to at least 75 popular songs and dozens of movies. Beyond that, as a student of the assassination, I have a lot of thoughts about what really happened that day and the cover-up that continues to this day.

Warning: If you are one of those who think that Lee Harvey Oswald was a Communist Lone Gunman, then this video is definitely not for you. I believe that Oswald was actually an American Patriot who served his country with honor in many undercover roles and was shamefully framed in the murder to cover up the complicity of the National Security State.

For this reaction, I used an excellent video created by Bob Mori that contains much archival footage of the events in Dallas, as well as representations of many of the songs and movies referenced. A link to that video is here:

Please be aware that the video also uses recreations of some of the events of that day that are not originals. I have tried to note some of those as I went but remember, "Don't believe everything you see!" That seems like especially good advice for the JFK Assassination!
