In the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, China, a small county called Puge (普格县) is starting a new policy where residents can be hit with fines if they fail to maintain cleanliness in their homes. Things like making the bed, washing the dishes, avoiding a squatting posture while eating, etc are all mandatory requirements. Violators will be fined. The main people affected by this policy are the ethnic minority called the 'Yi People' (彝族).
