Who is Natasha Petite? Natasha was one of the many witnesses to testify at the National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) that took place earlier this year.

Natasha testified to tell her story of abuse, negligence and violence at the hands of Sydney River, Nova Scotia Walmart staff and members of the Cape Breton Regional Police. She was thrown to the ground and pinned down by multiple police and placed in an illegal choke-hold. She was eventually taken to the police station and released without charges.
