• Rom. 12:13 Christian hospitality differs from social entertaining. Entertaining focuses on the host: The home must be spotless; the food must be well prepared and abundant; the host must appear relaxed and good-natured. Hospitality, by contrast, focuses on the guests' needs, such as a place to stay, nourishing food, a listening ear, or just acceptance. Hospitality can happen in a messy home. It can happen around a dinner table where the main dish is canned soup. It can even happen while the host and the guest are doing chores together. Don't hesitate to offer hospitality just because you are too tired, too busy, or not wealthy enough to entertain.

• Rom. 12:14-15 Sometimes it's harder to rejoice with those who are rejoicing than it is to weep with those who are weeping. "How come she was the one picked for the position? How come they got that job offer? Why does he get the big breaks?" we wonder all too often. Notice that Paul doesn't say, "Preach to those who are weeping." No, he says, "Weep with those who are weeping." Concerning those who are weeping, we don't have to preach at them or speak something profound to them. We just need to weep with them without questioning God's goodness in the process. It is empathy time not speaking time.

Word 3
Study Of Paul's Epistle To The Romans - The Fundamentals Of Christian Education & Church Principles. || Rom. 12:13-16
• Rom 12:16 Many people use their contacts and relationships for selfish ambition. They select those people who will help them climb the social ladder. Christ demonstrated and taught that we should treat all people with respect—those of a different race, the handicapped, the poor, young and old, male and female. We must never consider others as being beneath us. Paul says we need to live in harmony with others and not be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. Are you able to do humble tasks with others? Do you welcome conversation with unattractive, non-prestigious people? Are you willing to befriend newcomers and entry-level people? Or do you relate only to those who will help you get ahead?

Personal Supplication
Father, in the name of Jesus, help me humble myself and be an impact in the lives of everyone that You bring my way. Rom 12:16 TPT
16 Live happily together in a spirit of harmony, and be as mindful of another’s worth as you are your own. Don’t live with a lofty mind-set, thinking you are too important to serve others, but be willing to do menial tasks and identify with those who are humble minded. Don’t be smug or even think for a moment that you know it all.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
