The Marvels is WORST MCU Movie | CEO Bob Iger Throws Director Under the Bus

Disney released a memo stating they will no longer be reporting box office results for The Marvels which means they don’t expect any significant gains. This despite the movie set to play in theaters through the new year.

The Marvels has not been able to generate $300 million at the global box office so far. The reported budget is around $270 million, but these estimates are likely under reporting. Marvel and Disney’s large slate of upcoming MCU movies indicates the studio doesn’t believe superhero fatigue is what’s causing this string of box office failures. However, delays, reduced budgets, and extensive rewrites indicates the studio is trying to figure it out.
