Great Dane's Pre Op Spay Visit At The Tampa Humane Society Vet Clinic

Maddie the Great Dane's car ride into Tampa didn't end at a drive thru window, but at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for a wellness check & blook work prior to her Jan 4 Spay & Gastropexy (tummy tack to prevent bloat). This was everyone's first visit to the clinic, which was recommended by Maddie's breeder as the Surgical Vet has worked on lions & tigers & is very familiar with the surgical needs of large breed dogs. It was a totally different vet experience, which Maddie wasn't overly impressed with, but the clinic provides a wonderful service to Tampa pet owners offering low cost vaccines & spay & neuter surgeries & veterinary care. All the dogs & their parents were very well behaved. Maddie was the biggest girl in the waiting room! Two paws up for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay which has been servicing the community for over 100 years!
