U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West held a meeting with a Taliban delegation in Qatar. At the meeting, the American official discussed a number of things with the Taliban, including security and so on. He said that the United States follow to the policy of "interaction" with the new regime, which, however, is clear from the weekly transfers of money to the Taliban.
Earlier, West visited the KSA, the UAE and Pakistan to discuss the situation in Afghanistan and possible solutions to the problems.
