Adam Kinzinger: Christian Trump Supporters ‘Don’t Understand’ Their Own Religion

Former U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) used X on the day after Christmas to criticize former President Donald Trump, suggesting that Christians endorsing him may not fully comprehend their faith.

In response to Trump’s Truth Social Christmas message, where he condemned corrupt individuals in the “swamp” to “rot in hell,” Kinzinger posted on Tuesday, stating,“I’m going to go out on a NOT limb here: this man is not a Christian.”

Kinzinger went on to assert, “If you are a Christian who supports him you don’t understand your own religion.”

“Trump is weak, meager, smelly, victim-ey, belly-achey, but he ain’t a Christian and he’s not ‘Gods man,’” the Trump critic added.

The ex-congressman distanced himself from the majority of the GOP by emerging as one of their most outspoken critics of the Republican president, Breitbart News reported.
