Life With Jesus

The best decision I ever made was to let go of this life and be all-in with Jesus! That was over 32 years ago. All of us who are all-in, sold-out, and on fire for Jesus have been on an amazing adventure. We all have a testimony of how Jesus changed our lives. Our theme for 2024 is “I Chose to Follow Jesus!” as we believe it will be a year of decision for millions of people around the world.
“Life With Jesus” is our introduction to “I Chose to Follow Jesus!” as I testify of how amazing Jesus truly is.
Rev 12:10-12 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Rev 19:9-10 Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'" And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God." 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

The word describes a testimony based on what one has seen, heard, or knows. The English word “martyr” come from the Greek root, with the implications that a witness is willing to die for his belief. I live my life with Jesus and I am here today to testify He is real, alive, in my heart and on His Throne in Heaven. He has changed my life! I am not the same person I was 32 years ago.
At Life Song Church, our vision is “Teaching Answers for Life!” We see the Bible not only as the Inspired, Infallible, Authoritative, Living, Spoken Word of God, but as a guide to this life. We make the Word practical and relevant to our everyday lives. We live the Word of God! We are “living epistles” as God writes the Chronicles of Life Song Church and how each of our lives are a part.
As the Lead Pastor, I use my life as an example of God’s love, grace, forgiveness, righteousness, justice and judgment. It is important that we can see how the Word of God is applied to our lives. I share my success, failures, weaknesses, thoughts, strengths and hopes as we together battle for the glory of our Lord Yeshua Hamashiach and the souls of men.
Our Greatest Example is Jesus
John 13:12-15 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

1 Peter 2:20-21 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

Phil 3:17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.
2 Thess 3:8-9 nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, 9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us.

1 Tim 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Cor 4:14-17 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. 15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

The Prophets are an Example
James 5:9-11 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! 10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. 11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord — that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
TEAM Leaders are an Example
All of the TEAM Leaders at LSC are an example of how to serve with a loyal, humble, dedicated spirit of excellence and humility. They are the glue that holds everything together as they hold on to Jesus and one another. They love you and care about you. You can go to them for guidance. Life Song Church would not be the church that it is today without our Leaders having a humble heart, filled with love, and walking in unity.
The most important thing is to love God with all of our heart and to love one another. This love is called “agape” and it means an unconditional commitment to love no matter how we are treated. Our Leaders serve you because they are committed to you and this family we call Life Song Church!
Teammates are an Example
All of you who serve on a TEAM are also examples of a servant’s heart, being faithful to be here and help. You are friendly and care about people. You make everyone’s experience at Life Song Church feel like they are getting a big hug from Jesus!
