I'm so excited for you to meet our next amazing human, Deborah Ayres! Deb is a certified life coach, wellness practitioner, advocate and Native American medicine woman. Her daughter was diagnosed with a rare metabolic bone disorder as a toddler and after ten years of vigilantly advocating for her daughter's health and wellness, she helped her overcome intense psychological, emotional and physical challenges while beginning a painful injection treatment.

Deb and Avie, her daughter, co-founded the Avalon Foundation several months later with the help of their amazing team. Their mission is to help other pediatric rare families successfully begin treatment without all the obstacles. Professionally, Deborah has been a wellness practitioner for over 25 years. She has studied, she is certified and she is licensed in over a dozen different types of healing bodywork and energy work, uniquely combining her studies of healing, arts, counseling, and mindfulness.

Deb shares her expertise and experience to help the patients and families of the Avalon Foundation, as well as private clientele as an advocate and healer. Her mission is to not only help individuals but to also provide opportunities for society to raise awareness and build bridges of understanding and compassion towards the rare disease community and humanity as a whole.
