✈️🇲🇾 In this PT. 2 (2024) episode we bring you all back to Southeast Asia and give you our first impression of Kuala Lumpur! Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. Its modern skyline is dominated by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. The towers also offer a public skybridge and observation deck. The city is also home to British colonial-era landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

This time we stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur Hotel in a Deluxe City View Room! This elegantly appointed room offered sweeping views of Kuala Lumpur's skyline or swimming pool. Available with either a king or twin beds, rooms feature spacious marble bathrooms with a large bath and walk-in shower.

We also visited the Batu Caves! Batu Caves is a mogote (a type of karst landform) that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Malay word batu, meaning 'rock'.[1][2] The cave complex is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Murugan. It is the focal point of the Tamil festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.

And the KL Tower! The Kuala Lumpur Tower, colloquially referred to as KL Tower, is a 6-storey, 421-metre-tall telecommunication tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's seventh-tallest tower. It features an antenna which increases its height to 421 metres. The roof of the pod is at 335 metres.
