Ingredients:
2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions:
Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease each cup.
Mash Bananas:
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
Add Wet Ingredients:
Add melted butter, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and the egg to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures:
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Add Chocolate Chips:

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool:
