What we see on the war on drugs is propaganda from two sides, the government and the cartels. The government wants to pose as strong, confident, doing everything... but they can't protect many people from the cartels thats the reality. The government can sometimes barely protect its own people in positions of power let alone other people.
The cartels profit on the war on drugs, the prohibition by making extraordinary profits and helping those that government cant because they loose money also in the war on drugs.
We the majority of the people who want none of this violence and loss of liberties are caught in this war.
What we all must do is to suggest the middle way in which the good drugs are legalised so that we cut down on the power of the cartels.
