On February 25, 2022, a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in Indonesia. Seismic event was recorded in the north of the island of Sumatra at a depth of about 12 kilometers. Unfortunately, casualties, missing and injured people have been reported. 13 000 residents were forced to leave their houses.
