JAM ON IT! Yellow Is Red In The School Bus Money Scam Musical Presented By Rev. Elaine At The Garden

Before I begin, I first want to point out that I am completely 100 percent in favor of the SAFETY of children getting on and off the school busses. What makes me angry are people being fined $250 for passing school busses BEFORE the lights are flashing red. No points are given on your license, BUT, you have to pay the * * * * * MONEY! * * * * *

Hello, I’m the Reverend Elaine Njerve-Zack and I’m seeing more and more people receiving $250 (or more) in fines. Many are guilty as I’ve seen on videos their cars pass by the bus with the red flashing lights and the stop sign extended. But the innocent are receiving these fines as well.

There are many people receiving fines while the lights on the busses are flashing YELLOW! The videos of these people who received citations clearly shows that the lights are still flashing YELLOW and the stop sign is NOT yet extended outward. Many are appealing their citations stating that this is a way to get more money from people. I’ve heard people who have appealed it were found guilty, even before they tried to explain their situation.

You don’t get a citation when driving through a YELLOW light, but you DO when you run a RED light. When you encounter a school bus with the YELLOW flashing lights, you have to JAM ON YOUR BRAKES even if you burn out your brakes and go through your windshield! Folks, you’ve got to JAM ON IT! JAM ON IT!

You see a school bus from across the street with the YELLOW lights flashing EVEN WHEN THERE IS A FENCE DIVIDING BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD! You must JAM ON IT! JAM on those brakes!

I saw a school bus parked in front of a house with the yellow lights flashing. I was just WAITING for that stop sign to pop out! I waited for a couple of minutes and decided to turn around going back where I came from. Numerous people have said the stop sign had PARTIALLY popped out AS THEY WERE PASSING THE SCHOOL BUS and received citations for it! I turned around and went back as I wasn’t going to risk getting a citation.

There was a school bus that stood motionless on the shoulder of the road WITH NO KIDS ANYWHERE IN SIGHT and no lights were flashing. A car was making a U-turn and then pased the bus from the other side of the road. BINGO! The stop sign began to pop out! The video I saw shows the stop sign NOT YET EXTENDED! The owner of the car received a $250 citation in the mail two weeks later! If the driver of the car JAMMED ON HIS BRAKES, it would have been too late as there was NO time to stop! Either way, you loose!

There was a time where I passed a school bus on the OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD not being able to see if the lights were flashing red. There was a fence in the middle of the road to prevent jaywalkers. That blocked my view of the bus that was next to a bus where the red lights were flashing. I didn’t see any red lights flasing until AFTER I passed the bus because the other bus blocked it and other cars were blocking it too. BUT, I didn’t get a citation. But HOW can they expect children to cross the road all those lanes and climb over the fence that divides the road? Does New York State actually EXPECT drivers to stop even though the bus isn’t visible and with a center divider whether it be a cement divider or a fence making it impossible to cross? If so, that is just plain CRAZY!

When I hear of many people getting these citations even when they are innocent, it makes me paranoid! I NEVER received a citation in my entire life but I fear that getting one in the future is inevitable. It feels like I have to keep my eyes open more on the other side of the road and when you have three lanes on each side with a cement divider, I’m afraid one day I may not notice a school bus that is all the way on the other side.
